The International School Outdoor Classroom.
Cob with living roofs. Portland, OR. 2006.
Designed and built by Scott with assistance from Tricia Tallman, Tynan Pierce, and other volunteers with the Village Building Convergence. Used heavily by the school, this outdoor classroom serves as the art teacher's room. The four overlapping living roofs provide ample shelter for a class of grade-school kids. The design and art are meant to inspire wonder and learning in the students.
